Origin Story

Raised By Ladders. Trained By Hot Tile.

Roof Monkey was born with three supernatural gifts: balance, speed, and the ability to lose a small part while holding five other small parts.

Some say he learned to crawl on comp shingles. Others say he emerged from a truck bed during a 7 a.m. install, already wearing gloves and asking where the rails were staged.

He fears no roof pitch, but he respects every roof. Because comedy is funny. Gravity is not.

His sworn enemy is the missing clip. His backup enemy is the skylight that looks “totally obvious” until the sun hits it wrong.

Team Role

Roof Monkey brings speed, guts, laughter, and roof reality to Team Solar. He is the one who knows if the layout actually fits, if the access path makes sense, and if the “easy install” is about to become a character-building experience.

He is also the reason the truck needs more clips.
